This stuff is a dream come true. I can design my own mini-golf course I want!!! And it is also lightweight, easy to cut. Love it so much!

I wish I had taken photos, because I spent a lot of time prepping the soil. I applied the grass seed mat and watered thoroughly, but I still didnt water it enough. The next day it was pretty windy and sections of it blew across the yard. I replaced as much as I could set about making sure the grass seed mat was ALWAYS wet. Despite everything, the grass came up really nicely! So nicely in fact that I ordered more for a different part of my yard! This time I didnt have a problem keeping it wet; the next day we got four inches of rain! It looked like all the grass seed mat washed away, but all the grass came up! My yard looks great! In fact, the grass seed mat grass looks better than the old grass! This is the only way I will plant grass again. I highly recommend !!!

My husband was not convinced but we tried it after for some reason we lost our whole lawn. I purchased a few and within two weeks we had grass again followed the instructions and my yard is coming back again we are purchasing more because we seeded separately and the yard has not grown from that so YES this works Im purchasing more

This stuff is a dream come true. Lightweight, easy to cut. I cut a few strips down to use in smaller patches even. Using it on a very sloped hill and no concerns so far. Keeping it moist at first essentially "glues" it down and there has been no seed runoff down the hill- which was my chief concern, especially with all the rain we've gotten lately. I didn't use any stakes or pins to anchor it. I bought one roll as a test so I just bought two more as the test was highly successful. Little over a week and I have grass starting. I'm sold. It's just what my yard needed.

It definitely looks like trash in your yard for the first week. It took longer to sprout than I was hoping for, but it did grow and cover the bare spots well. One patch that I put down died 4 weeks after it looked soooo good. The other areas did fine. I'm almost certain that the fertilizer in the mat helps the weeds more than the grass.

We had a tree removed and the stump ground. We did not want to spend the money at that time on brining in soil, so we spread the wood chips and tamped them down. Then we rolled the grass seed mat out over the wood chips. We knew it would be a really difficult spot to grow grass so we liked the idea of the roll with the seed and fertilizer held in place all together. We should have ordered two rolls as we did not measure, we just guessed! I had a fresh bag of just seed, so i spread it over the other area. Big difference for sure!! The grass seed mat worked amazingly!! You can see the difference in just a short amount of time! Filled in thick and dark green. Would definitely purchase again!!

My husband followed the instructions to the letter on this, covering a fairly large area of bare ground on a slope that was the result of a deck install. Preparation of the soil is the key, he had it raked very very smoothly, no bumps or stones, laid the fabric down and wet it as the instructions stated. Because it was on a hill he used some wooden skewers to hold the pieces together and that worked fine. He kept it wet and in 6 or 7 days we had little sprouts of grass. In three weeks time it was all filled in and you can't tell it from the rest of the lawn now except it's greener. Would use again.

picture is day 9 after laying very impressed. make and you till it up an mix in top soil the night before an get it wet but not soaked. lay it. water it. continue watering at least 3 times a day an anytime it looks dried out from the sun.

I needed to re-seed a strip next to my driveway that is on a slope, so I was looking to buy a seed mat. Since this was the same price as JUST the mat and already had the seed and fert included, I decided to roll the dice. As you can see in the picture, which are the results from September of Last year to April of this year, it worked out really well for me! At first, I did have a lot of the issues that people were complaining about. Getting it to stay put in the wind was a challenge, but I realized that I wasn't putting nearly enough water on it. Giving it a REALLY good soaking for the first few days made the difference ( after I fixed my mistakes with additional patches I needed to add )

This is the first review I've done for something that isn't giving me free product. Let me say that again, I have not and am not getting anything for free for this review. I have struggled for two years to grow grass in this one location due to poor drainage and grass seed always washing away, even with straw on top. This product did the trick and I'll let the picture speak for itself.
Courtnie B.
Cant believe Im saying this... if done correctly this is a wonderful product!! The key is very very very very frequent watering, and ensuring the land you place it on is watered as well. Grass looks wonderful, perfect for a golf course.
Kane T.
I cannot believe how easy this was and how well this product worked! I initially purchased the small roll, as I was skeptical about something that seemed too good to be true. I was so impressed with the results that I purchased several more rolls and was able to rehab my entire side yard! Take care to follow the guidelines given about ideal weather conditions for application... If it's windy outside the product will lift off the ground and rip apart. Be sure it is placed exactly where you want it before wetting because once wet it falls apart easily if moved. If you follow the instructions given, you can't go wrong!

This is a very interesting product, planting grass seed and getting it to grow can be very difficult. This product makes the task of planting grass very easy. Just prepare the area as instructed on the label, then roll the amount of grass seed mat out on your lawn that you want patch , cut from the roll, and water it. You can even over lap on grass, since after watering the mat dissolves to allow grass that is already there to keep growing. It also camouflages the grass seed, so the birds and other critters don't eat it the grass before it has a chance to grow. Its a great product, I am very happy with it!
Colm G.
We planted Sunday night everything as directions say. then the next day got a huge windy thunderstorm that pulled half of it up an folded it on itself an threw the folded stuff down the yard. we salavaged the pieces that were thrown so it will be spotty on half where i need grass. its now friday an you can see grass starting to sprout very tiny but its there. even in some of the just dirt spots where the grass seed mat got lifted from when the storm hit has some grass growing so it must have got seeds even though the green stuff was gone. im very happy so far with it an tomorrow well be starting the other half of the yard.

I've used the grass seed mat twice: first time for a long strip of barren soil over an area that needed to be reseeded because of a previous trenching. Perfect. It came in even and is probably the best piece of lawn I have. I soaked it daily - really soaked it. Second time was for bald spots. Not nearly as successful, but it was hard to keep all of the areas wet (I don't have a sprinkler system.) Also, it was windier that day. Probably user error.

First, I used this mat in late June, hot, windy. Watered about 3 - 4 times per day. After about 6 days I have grass growing. With Oklahoma heat and wind didn't think it had much chance. But it really worked. Only critique is I had to place bricks on the leading edges. Our winds went to 20 - 30 mph and picked up the grass mats. Should have planted in late spring, my bad. Still happy with the grass

Ill admit I was skeptical about this product, especially when it took about 3 weeks to grow. But in all fairness we put it down in cooler weather. Once the temps hit 80 degrees in the day, this stuff took off. It looks like a golf green. Perfect to build a golf course with these.

It came in even and is probably the best piece of lawn I have. I soaked it daily - really soaked it. Second time was for bald spots. Not nearly as successful, but it was hard to keep all of the areas wet (I don't have a sprinkler system.) Also, it was windier that day. Probably user error.

Cant believe Im saying this... if done correctly this is a wonderful product!! The key is very very very very frequent watering, and ensuring the land you place it on is watered as well. Grass looks wonderful, perfect for a golf course.

I'm obsessed with this product it works awesome you have to just make sure you have 3inches of topsoil and it will really take off it promises were meet and I've done my entire back yard and I live in San Diego area were it's hot and dry secret is most it like several times a day keep it moisturized lightly always when watering, I also seeded over it when it had done the basics just to make it thicker but that was when it had almost disappeared into ground looks beautiful easy throw top soil down and get it going love love love!!

This stuff really works and grows fast! The prep work on the soil before you lay the roll of grass seed is the hardest part. It was only hard for me because the soil in my backyard was very hard and dry. If your soil isn't then it shouldn't be as hard. Once you have your soil prepped all you do is roll the grass seed out and cut it to fit! After about a week you'll start to see sprouts and once it sprouts out it really takes off. Mine has only been planted for about a total of 3 weeks and I did in sections because of the prep work on the soil. Not sure how hold up in the winter months so more to come. I would definitely without a doubt recommend this product if you need to plant grass in a small area!!

Used this to build my gold course. It feels so smooth and nice!

Ill admit I was skeptical about this product, especially when it took about 3 weeks to grow. But in all fairness we put it down in cooler weather. Once the temps hit 80 degrees in the day, this stuff took off. It looks like a golf green. Perfect to build a golf course with these.

Iwatered my lawn 2 to 3 times a day because it was hot and clear. after the first week I did put in some areas to much water as you can see the Sheet is showing through the grass and please don't let no one Walk on it. My dog did a good job messing it up in some spots. If you can set your sprinklers to go off in the middle of the day please do so. Recommend

I've had a terrible time getting grass to grow in a few areas of my yard. I've tried seed and that combo mulch/seed stuff in a shaker bottle. Nothing worked. So I bought this product, skeptical, but hoping it might work. I was shocked at how fast it's growing! The first picture is just 10 days after putting it down. There is no way regular seed would grow that fast! The second picture is at 2 weeks, and the last picture is about 6 weeks. WOW! I only bought two rolls to test out, but I'm going to buy a few more rolls to fix a few more areas during the fall season so next year I'll hopefully have a great lawn finally.

My husband was not convinced but we tried it after for some reason we lost our whole lawn. I purchased a few and within two weeks we had grass again followed the instructions and my yard is coming back again we are purchasing more because we seeded separately and the yard has not grown from that so YES this works Im purchasing more
